What these are.

Actually, I'll make it fun. The first one to guess, you get a free skein of Lorna's Laces. I have one in Icehouse laying around that's never been loved properly. It's pretty - blues and greens.
So guess away, down in the comments.

This below, requires no guessing. It's a skein of lovely yarn. Being swatched for something fun.

By the ever talented Amber. Merino and silk. Mmmmm. I got it at the Bizarre Bazaar, as some of you might remember.

Since I'm waiting to see if Alene wants her blue wrap or if she's going to make me knit her a new one in a more Alene-y color and since I'm halfway through a Tree Jacket for my other sister, Melissa, and since I have a new sweater for Zoe on the sidelines, and since the spaghetti above is Not For Me (hint), I figure it's time to do something For Me.

So, I'm going with another lace scarf from this little book. I love those colors.

Are they suspenders?

Braided together, they'd make a neat scarf.

hmm wow you got me. The only thing I can think of it's the front cover picture of Vogue Knitting Spring/Summer 2005- Courtney Thorne-Smith's scarf in garter stitch and woven. Well, it's a guess right?

I think they are scarves for wine and liquor bottles. I saw some at a yarn store over Christmas that were completely adorable!

You're being kind to all the chipmunks around Boston who missed hibernation and knitting them scarves?

You guys have some good ideas, but nope - am amused by the wine bottle thingys, who knew?

I think I'll give it a day or so and go with whatever's closest if nobody hits on it!

Super Skinny neck ties, ya' know from the 80's? They were cool then. You're Interweave looks well loved enough to almost be from the 80's. Almost...well the 80's might be a stretch.

As lame and mundane as it sounds... Bookmarks? Though I do have to say, I sure do like the idea of wine bottle scarves. OOH! Or they could be wine glass markers! Tie the little scraves around...

I'm going to let you guys go a little longer, since no one's got it yet. I know who's closest, so.....

Huh, could that be a log cabin blanket? A bit small for that, but it's the only thing that comes to mind.

I love those colors too. What a pretty ball of yarn!

My guess is purse or backpack straps.

hi all, Sunday AM.

Temperance is the closet with mini scarves. They're Build A Bear Scarves, for Zoe's birthday party next weekend. $10 a bear for the little scarves you can buy there, and free stashbusting to knit my own!

Amber, you were close w/ Barbie scarves, so I have some cool vintage buttons for you.

Guys, email me at theacolman@yahoo.com with your info and I'll get to the PO this week!

I love reading your blog and have nominated you for the 'you make my day award'
(details are on my blog)

My guess was neck wear for wine bottles. So close yet so far.

Darn. I'm too late. I thought they were some type of homemade restraint.

I love the idea of marking the wine glasses with little scarves!
