Two little needle cases are currently making their way(s) to Nova Scotia and Hawaii - (funny right, one on each side of the coast?).  So, it's time to share with you the next item I scored in the Lantern Moon warehouse to give away.   I just loved these zippered felted needle pouches that you can pretty much use for anything - scissors, measuring tape, needles, stitch markers, keys, or maybe your bottle opener for outdoor knitting in a park as the weather gets warm.   So handy.

Tell me what you'd put in one of these (in the comments) and again, two lucky winners will get these awesome pouches.  Be sure to include a Ravelry Name or email or I won't be able to find you!

So that's for you guys.  I'll give it a couple of days and pick two winners.

For me, I splurged on a different item in the Warehouse.  I had heard all about Lantern Moon's beautiful needles in the past, and there had been much debate on the trip about who prefers which kind of wood for what.  So I created a sampler pack to find out.  And sorry guys, but I'm not giving these away -  I'll be checking out for myself what the difference is between Rosewood, Blondewood and Ebony as I knit my next few projects.  And I'm excited to use these and see what they are like, compared to my motley collection of Addis, Takumis, and hand-me-downs.  I may get spoiled.

Especially since I'll be using them on these yarns!  From L to R - Bare Naked Wool's Confection in Nougat,  Plucky Knitter's brand-new Scholar in Technicolor Teal, and Shalimar's Breathless DK in Byzantium.  I never do know how these things are going to go, but in my head... so far, this is what September will look like.

Before that, this is what the summer will look like.  It's all Plucky.

So stay tuned - and don't forget to comment below to win one of those adorable pouches!

Those pouches look perfect for stitch markers, small scissors, and any other small accessory needed for knitting on the go. They are too cute!

The pouches are so cute! I would use one to hold some of my DPNs.

I'd make it my tool bag-scissors, stitch markers, etc.

I would love to take one of those pouches because we go camping a lot, and I love to sit by the fireside and knit. It would also help for airplane notions. They are so picky!

I'm going with a corkscrew holder. It would be perfect.

That cute pouch would go in my sock knitting bag with little scissors, darning needles, stitch markers, and a tiny crochet hook. I'm andymeg on Ravelry.

One of these would make a great notions bag, so embroidery scissors, needle egg, tape measure would be things that I would put in.

It looks like the perfect size for notions on the go. I can just grab it and my project and be ready to go!

The pouches could definitely work double duty--for knitting notions and teaching notions. The classrooms I teach in on a university campus never have chalk or markers for the whiteboard. So I carry them with me, usually in the bottom of my bag. But these pouches would be great for organizing my work bag!

We're flying from Nova Scotia to Vietnam this summer. That would be the perfect pouch for (A) scissors, stitch markers, pencil etc. or (B) charging cables for phone, tablet, daughter's ipod, etc. Bright colours would be easy to find in the backpack under the seat in front of me.

Those would be good for anything! Right now I need a bag for chapstick. I love chapstick.

I can see putting my yarn label, markers, and row counters in the pouch. However, I always end up with something in there that is not knitting-related. My current project has a small bottle of sunscreen in it and I don't know why, but I keep it there anyway ...

I would put buttons, buttons, buttons. When I do a project I pick out 10x the amount of buttons needed and think about which ones I will use throughout knitting the project. It helps to have them in a pouch in my project bag to compare once or ten times a day.
